The Shamrockmobile

The star of the Irish Auto Show is the SHAMROCKMOBILE which was built in Ireland for about 3 years in the early 1950’s.

It possesses and almost Ford Edsel look but the company quickly went out of business. There are only 2 operating Shamrockmobiles in existence and you can see one of them at the BIG IRISH FAIR’S Irish Auto Show.

You can win bets on this one.

The DeLorean

Also built in Ireland is the world famed DeLorean….

The sharp, distinctive lines of the DeLorean leave no room for doubt: this car is a high-tech machine, a stainless steel interface between you and the road, a reliably engineered machine that will take you wherever you want to go.

The De Lorean DMC-12 is a sports car that was manufactured by the De Lorean Motor Company for the American market in 1981 and 1982 in Northern Ireland. It is most commonly known simply as the De Lorean, as it was the only model ever produced by the company. The DMC-12 featured gull-wing doors with a fiberglass "underbody," to which non-structural brushed stainless steel panels were affixed. A De Lorean was featured as a home-made time machine in the Back to the Future trilogy.
