In addition, it publishes the "IRISH YEAR BOOK", NEWSPAPER . and provides workshops for the study of Gaelic language, Irish step dancing, history, music and art. Additionally, it supports sporting activities by contributing funds to local athletic teams and in the past, by sponsoring the "ALL IRELAND/CHAMPION, GAELIC ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION AMERICAN TOUR." The Irish Fair Foundation was also the official Irish entry in the opening ceremonies for the 1984 Olympics. The Irish Fair Foundation, Inc., is the focal point for over 1.7 million Irish-Americans in the Southern California area. The Foundation also provides a communications network for approximately 250 Irish social, cultural, athletic and other clubs that participate in the Foundation's events. The Foundation is a non-profit, cultural and educational corporation. It is non-sectarian and non-political. Its activities are guided by a volunteer Board of Directors with each Officer and Board Member responsible for different aspects of the organization. The Irish Fair Foundation is led by a cadre of individuals whose efforts are supported by hundreds and enjoyed by thousands!
